Festival Fundraiser Concerts

MAS Poet Meets the Lute Guy for Web.jpg

Our third festival fundraiser is coming on June 5th, and will take the form of an evening of poetry, music & wine featuring the celebrated Gloucestershire poet Frank McMahon and the lutenist and art historian Dr Adam Busiakiewicz

Frank is an award-winning poet, and since moving to Cirencester, writing poetry has remained an important part of his life. He is a member of two writers groups, and has been published on-line and in print.

Adam is a lutenist & lecturer/educator at the National Gallery and Guide Lecturer at the Wallace Collection and has also given talks and performances at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

MUSIC AT STOW was founded in 2014 and is based in Stow-on-the-Wold in the heart of the Cotswolds, in rural Gloucestershire.

It hosts an annual music festival each September, along with standalone events during the year, presenting world-class artists from every genre including classical, jazz, blues & classic bands from the sixties.
