Exultate Singers

This accomplished chamber choir of 45 singers is based in Bristol, and was founded in 2002 by its conductor, David Ogden. It has gone on to perform in more than 250 concerts, broadcasts on BBC Radios 2, 3, 4, BBC World Service and Classic FM and has appeared on BBC’s Songs of Praise and The One Show.

Craig Ogden

Described by BBC Music Magazine as "A worthy successor to Julian Bream", Grammy nominated guitarist Craig Ogden is one of the most diverse and successful guitarists of his generation. Craig has performed concertos with many of the world’s finest orchestras including all the major orchestras in the UK, and is the most sought-after guitarist for chamber music in the country. He has topped classical charts with his five Classic FM albums and his array of over 30 recordings for major labels have been critically acclaimed.  Craig has featured on many soundtracks for film and television, and presented programmes for BBC Radio 3, BBC Northern Ireland, and ABC Classic FM in Australia.

David Ogden

A professional conductor and composer based in Bristol, David conducts the vocal ensemble Celestia, Exultate Singers, City of Bristol Choir, and in his post of Head of the Bristol Choral Centre, he organises and directs the 140 strong Bristol Youth Choir in association with Bristol Music Trust. David studied conducting with George Hurst, Norman Del Mar, Michael Rose and Adrian Leaper, and choral conducting with Simon Johnson, Laszlo Heltay and Peter Erdei.

MUSIC AT STOW was founded in 2014 and is based in Stow-on-the-Wold in the heart of the Cotswolds, in rural Gloucestershire.

It hosts an annual music festival each September, along with standalone events during the year, presenting world-class artists from every genre including classical, jazz, blues & classic bands from the sixties.

Concerts are staged in the historic 12th century church of St Edward's and in the characterful town hall set in the centre of the picturesque market square. With the cities of Cheltenham & Oxford nearby, and easy access by road & rail, the festival has attracted visitors from far and wide, whilst remaining passionate about serving our local creative community.
